Loki Disney+Airing in 2021, the Loki Disney+ series takes place directly after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019). The eponymous God of Mischief (played by Tom Hiddleston) — from an alternate reality — picks up the Tesseract following his attempted invasion of Earth and escapes captivity. However, his actions unwittingly go against the Sacred Timeline. In response, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) take him into custody.
Loki is labelled a 'time variant' and is due to be erased. To prevent this from happening, he agrees to help them track down an alternate version of himself who has been picking off squads of TVA Minutemen. This person turns out to be Sylvie, a female variant of Loki (seemingly). Much like the Loki audiences are familiar with, she is cunning and powerful.
