The Royal Series 2 follows on directly from the cliff-hanger ending of the first series. The doctors and nurses face one of the biggest trials of their professional careers as they try to save the lives of those aboard the coach, while some have their own personal worries to face. Ken ties himself in knots as he and Harper clash over the hospital laundry. Episode 4: Wishing And Hoping An epidemic is feared when a child contracts whooping cough. Mr. Rose takes matters into his own hands - and feet. Middleditch's act of kindness spells trouble for Ormerod and Weatherill.
