The last 50 years has seen them grow from plain looking six passenger cars to well-decorated, technicoloured minibuses for up to 18 passengers or even more! From the standard WWII jeep, the bodies were extended, given a lavish dash of folk art, trimmings and Voila! Nowhere else in the world, except for the Philippines are Jeepneys found.
