The Wedding Singer
Robbie Hart is former rock-star wannabe who now works as a wedding singer, he lives with his sister in her basement and is due to marry his long-time girlfriend Linda. Robbie is heart-broken when Linda leaves him standing at the altar on their wedding day and later explains how she doesn’t want to marry him because he is not pursuing his career as a rock star and is wasting his life being a wedding singer.
Robbie as a result of this goes into turmoil and starts to drink a lot, that’s until he meets waitress Julia, who is engaged to be married. Robbie and Julia become close and Robbie even offers to help plan her wedding. But things become difficult when the two develop feelings for one another. Will Julia go on with her wedding or will she let Robbie know how she really feels before it’s too late?
Co-starring Steve Buscemi in a hilarious performance and a brilliant cameo from 80’s punk legend Billy Idol.
Music and Lyrics
First you're hot, then you're not... and then you're Alex Fletcher. So when the new sizzling tween queen on the charts asks the has-been '80s pop sensation to write her a song, he grabs for another chance at stardom. Problem: Alex can say it with music, but he sure can't say it with words. Enter Sophie Fisher, his beguiling if quirky plant lady, who has an unexpected green thumb for lyrics. Together, they go after songwriting success - and discover that if you want to write the perfect love song, it helps to fall in love.
With Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore at the keyboard and Marc Lawrence (Two Weeks Notice, Miss Congeniality) directing, Music and Lyrics is a witty, wacky romantic comedy that faces the music... and laughs!
Lucky You
Las Vegas - a city of glitz, glamour, romance and luck. And a place where dreams can be made or broken by the turn of a card.
Huck Cheever (Eric Bana) is a charming and talented Las Vegas poker player who is always one bad hand away from total ruin. Down on his luck and struggling to raise the $10,000 entry fee to compete in the high rolling World Series of Poker tournament, Huck meets new girl in town, aspiring lounge singer Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore).
Can Billie help Huck change his fortunes and teach him to treat love the way he treats his cards: trusting his heart instead of his head? Or will Huck crumble at the table in front of his poker nemesis father (Robert Duvall) and blow his only chance of true love?
Powerful romantic drama from the award winning director of L.A. Confidential.
Going the Distance
A comedy about meeting each other half way!
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long star in this romantic comedy as Erin and Garrett. Erin and Garrett meet while Erin is in town on a temporary intern job for a New York newspaper. The two are immediately attracted to one another and instantly hit it off. The next morning after their date Erin reveals to Garrett that she is only in town for 6 weeks and doesn’t want things to get complicated. So they decide that their relationship will stay casual as they live too far apart. But by the time that it’s time for Erin to leave they have totally fallen for each other. They must now face their ultimate challenge and put their bond to a test as they begin a long distance relationship.
